I see a window quite unlike
The others. Stopping next to it,
I wait for traffic lights to change.
My eyes observe the chipping skies
And flowers standing still and tints
So mixed with crud so as to dull
their shade. A window with no lock.
But for a moment there is peace,
And just like that the light turns green.
The wild beauty of a pet cat.
As the Spring snowmelt reveals the grass and long-hidden garden decor, my soul too sheds the Winter blues and reveals my new found courage.

The first step is always the hardest.
I’m left to wonder: who truly is “The Lion King”?
If these photos could speak, they’d say, “brrrrr”.
